Maile (13), Malia (12) and Malakai (9) lost their father, Truth Griffeth, unexpectedly on March 28, 2017. The kids were the light and loves of Truth's life, and he was his best self whenever he was with them. Truth was incredibly proud of his kids, for their academic, athletic and artistic achievements, but most especially for the kind and loving young adults they are becoming.
Sadly, the kids also lost their "Grandma Jan", Truth's mother, on April 18, 2017.
Any funds raised will be distributed equally among the three children and will help them continue on their journeys into adulthood. Funds will be used to pay for things that Truth and Grandma Jan would have made every effort to support, such as summer camp for Malakai, softball equipment for Malia and dance competition costumes for Maile.
Funds will be administered by Truth's sister, Valerie Al-Hachem, who will post regular updates on this gofundme page about the utilization of funds.
