Trueno's Vet Care Fund
Hi, everyone! My name is Trueno and right now I am a very sick cat. But as always, I am getting ahead of myself, let me explain my history to you.
10 years ago, I was abandoned in a field during the winter. When my current family found me, I was near death and severely frostbitten. They had taken me in, wrapped me in blankets and made sure I was well taken care of. Unfortunately, this ordeal caused a number of health problems. As you can see by my picture, I lost my ears and part of my tail due to the frostbite, most of my teeth had fallen out and had not been replaced, but not only that, I grew no larger than most kittens! That's right, I am still tiny, small and full of love.
For the past long while, I have been a good kitten. Loved, fed, and always cuddled. I have lots of friends to play with where I live! But a new issue has popped up. I can't eat. It could be anything from pancreatitis to a blockage in my intestines. It has almost been two days without eating (though I am still drinking water). I would love to go to the vet, but my owners have been struggling themselves as of late to make ends meet (my dad has been really sick himself), and the vet here does not offer a payment plan. In order for me to get the x-rays and possible surgery I may need, it's going to cost my owners $500 dollars, some of that to even get me in the door!
So if you would please, let me spend another few years with my family and get me to the vet. It would be much appreciated as my owners are already very upset seeing me waste away.
