USC Troy Philippines 26th PACN
Donation protected
Hi everyone! Thank you for visiting USC Troy Philippines's GoFundMe! We are raising money for our annual Pilipino American Culture Night - Sunday, April 8 at 5:00 PM at the Trojan Grand Ballroom on the University of Southern California campus. Please see below for more information and donation tiers. We can't wait to see you there!
Our mission statement: Troy Philippines is the University of Southern California's only Filipino organization. We are a student-led organization that seek to provide its members with an open space that fosters personal growth, self-discovery and cultural celebration.
USC Troy Philippines’ annual Pilipino American Culture Night is a student-led production of traditional Pilipino culture through song, dance, and theatre. Above, you can find a clip from our show two years ago!
Every spring, the members of our organization produce an event which consists of a play, written and directed by one of our members, along with various dance performances incorporated throughout the show. This year, we present 7 traditional Filipino dances, in addition to sets from our two performance groups, Troy Phi Modern and Troy Phi Voices, all choreographed and led by our members. These dances enable us to learn and share the Filipino culture, as well as promote growth and confidence in our members.
To put on a great show for our 26th anniversary, we need your help! PACN is a significant financial responsibility. We thank USC APASA for their current contribution to our show. However, our costs include the auditorium, food, live music, promotional material, programs, and costumes. We would appreciate any contributions you can make to Troy Philippines as we tirelessly work on this upcoming production.
Our current goal is $3000 to support the show. If you own a local business, you can be featured in our PACN program. If you are a family member or friend of a performer, you can send them a public message to wish them luck during a presentation during the intermission of the show!
