      SCOUTS SEND EXPERIMENT TO SPACE!!

You would not believe what these Scouts accomplished!

This amazing group of Scouts created an experiment that will fly to the International Space Station to study the rate of mutation of DNA in microgravity. And possibly impact future cancer or tissue growth research.

Scouts brainstormed, problem solved and worked as a team involving multiple STEM disciplines to resolve design issues.

We are now in the planning phase to allow these hard working, imaginative scouts to travel to the Kennedy Space Center to watch their experiment launch to the International Space Station.
Please consider contributing to this cause that will launch these scouts into another phase of education and empower them to continue to make an important impact on the world.

Proceeds are targetted for travel to the Space Center to enable the opportunity for presentations on the experiment, participation in the launch events, and have an experience of a lifetime.

Our team is grateful for the support we've received from the Men's Club of First United Methodist Church, Palatine(Our charter organization), Center for the Advancement of Science in Space, Texas A&M University, NanoRacks, and Sparkfun.
