Trevor's Campaign for Sharon India Foundation

I have seen incredible growth in my faith in college, and I have felt led to spend part of the summer working with the Sharon India Foundation (SIF) living with two Indian families and helping care for the poor in the slums of India.
I am currently finalizing my plans to spend July 1st - August 10th in Hyderabad, India. I am raising money for trip expenses and additional funds for the Sharon India Foundation’s ministry to the poor.
Sharon India Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to assisting the poor of India. They believe that by creating a strong support network, the suffering of India can be greatly impacted. Thousands of lives have already been improved through the Sharon India Foundation’s efforts. Through the foundation’s efforts, widows have received medical treatment and job training in sewing with their own quality machines and orphans and families living in the slums have received free care and education. After natural disasters caused by cyclones (Phailin and Hudhud), the foundation provided relief in the form of medical equipment, food, blankets, clothing, and building materials. Bore wells have been successfully dug to provide fresh water. Special shoes have been purchased for lepers with ulcerated feet.
Today, Sharon India Foundation intimately touches lives in five states of India. One of the greatest blessings is the hope and encouragement given to thousands.
