Trenadi Dorsey cancer treatment
I have the sweetest, gentlest, most angelic niece ever. She is 12 years old and has been healthy and vibrant her whole life. She has recently been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer and undergoing chemotherapy. We all know that medical bills alone can be staggering but there is also the added weight of commuting to UC Davis and daily expenses. Anything that you can do to support Trenadi on her journey to recovery is beyond appreciated. Please walk with us. Thank you so much+ Read More
We have been very fortunately blessed with an awesome team of doctors and nurses around Trenadi. Through talking with them and understanding more of what this journey entails, the decision to keep Trenadi at UC Davis was made and everyone feels good about it. Even though Texas is on hold, Trenadi and the family appreciate all of your continued support for the mounting expenses. Thanks so much
The prognosis from yesterday is encouraging. The cancer has not spread and is still isolated to Trenadi's right leg. The surgery today to implant the port was successful and chemo will start tonight. Trenadi is in good spirits and just as sweet as ever. She says thank you to everyone for your support and prayers.
Well, the doctors cancelled the prognosis meeting today at the last minute and it is now rescheduled for next Thursday, January 4th. They will then insert the port on Friday the 5th. Please remember her in your prayers.
Tomorrow Trenadi is headed back to UC Davis. The test results are in and the doctors will be giving us a prognosis. They then plan to insert a port into her chest on Thursday in order to administer chemo. More updates will come as we have them. Thanks so much for your continued support.
