Help TRBC Send Tigertrons Robotics Team to Worlds!

The TRBC (Tunkhannock Robotics Booster Club) is kindly asking for your support in helping the Tunkhannock Tigertrons as they travel to the FRC (First Robotics Competition) World Championship in Detroit, Michigan. The team will compete from April 24th through April 27th as one of the 1400 best teams from over 70 countries!
How did the team qualify for the Championship Event? After 2 district events with nearly 40 teams each, the Tigertrons earned enough points to be ranked 6th out of 129 teams in the Mid-Atlantic Region (MAR) which includes all of NJ, DE and half of PA.
This year’s points were earned by winning:
-Autonomous Award sponsored by FORD
-Placing 1st at the Mount Olive District Event
-Placing 3rd at the Montgomery District Event
-Placing 3rd at the Mid-Atlantic Region Championship
Why do the Tigertrons need financial help now? Both the TRBC and the Tigertrons fund raise year round to meet the costs of building the robot and travel expenses for the team. Since the beginning of March, the TRBC and parents have successfully funded two 2 night trips to NJ and one 3 night trip to Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.
For the Detroit competition, the students, advisors, mentors, and parents will need 15 rooms for 5 nights. They will also have transportation, parking fees, and meals to cover. These costs will be approximately $15,000.
The families and students who will be attending the championship thank you in advance for your generosity. Funding this trip is no small feat. Mariah, Ryan, Isaiah, Max, Brandon, Andrzej, Kinsey, Kyle, Dave, Macey, Padyn, Brittani, Josh, and Sean sincerely appreciate your kind and generous donations.
