Travis Powell was killed today while at a party in Chico, Ca. Travis was 22 years old. Travis grew up in Gridley, Ca. He was getting ready to graduate from California State University with a BA in Criminal Justice.
Travis's family are not only coping with the grief of and losing of him at such a young age, .
Travis wanted to enjoy his young adult life as he put himself through college; this included going to college parties this didn't make him a bad person, but a typical young college student enjoying the perks. He should have been able to do this without violence.
