Trasplante para Naida A. González

Donation protected

Gracias.

Born on August 12, 1967, Naida A. Gonzalez Sepulveda is a loved wife, daughter, sister, aunt and godmother. In early 2016, Naida began feeling strong and debilitating headaches, which after several weeks of tests, were found to be cause by acute leukemia. Despite this difficult diagnosis, Naida kept fighting.

Throughout the past few months, she has been treated with several debilitating rounds of intensive chemotherapy, with the purpose of eliminating the disease from her body. However, doctors indicate that despite the fact that Naida has responded well to the treatment, and is in course to free herself from the disease, the cause of the leukemia is genetic. Therefore, despite the chemotherapy, there is no guarantee that the leukemia won't come back. Because of this a bone marrow transplant is necessary, as a definitive treatment to cure her.

This transplant, even with the help of health insurance, is extremely expensive, around $200 to $300 thousand. Furthermore, because of the intense chemotherapy treatment, Naida, and her husband Sammy, have spent most of the last few months in the hospital, making their financial state suffer, even for covering their daily living expenses. The additional costs of the treatments, tests and medical visits have added up, making this an even harder situation.

We then humbly ask for your help in this moment. We seek to help her afford the transplant, so she can recover from this challenging chapter in her life. Any help you can provide will be enormously and eternally appreciated by Nida, Sammy and all of her family. Thank you.
