Transplant For Peri
I had an excellent checkup with my surgeon on Tuesday; liver function is back to normal. Feeling well although I still tire easily and have a sore achy mid section. I will return on the 18th flrore blood work and an ultrasound.
This whole experience has been absolutely incredible and we continue to be encouraged by everyone's positivity and support. Thank you all so much for contributing g to this campaign; we are so grateful! Your help has allowed Justin to stay in Denver and not worry about rushing back to work; it has eased our minds so we can care for our daughter; thank you.
Peri is still admitted at Children's Hospital. Her liver function is excellent but she has a large amount of fluid in her abdomen that is not resolving. She had a CT scan today and will undergo an ultrasound this evening. Hopefully we can figure out why this is happening and get Peri out on her road to recovery soon!
It's hard to believe a week has gone by since our surgeries! I have been resting up and taking it easy. Thankful for everyone who has reached out to check on us during this time.
Hello all! Sounds like I will be getting discharged today! I have had some good days and bad days but hopefully I've turned the corner. Not a big fan of pain meds, been feeling really nauseous and shaky. I think we finally dialed it all in though and I'm anxious to see my baby girl! Peri is exceeding expectations; she is up and taking little walks, eating a bit and has most of her lines out. Let's pray that her recovery continues to go smoothly. Again, thanks to all of you for supporting us during this time! ❤️❤️ Claire
I am completely overwhelmed by everyone's generosity! I cannot begin to tell you how much your donations mean to us; having a little cushion takes a ton of pressure off and will help us focus on sweet Peri and recovering quickly. Thank you from.the bottom of my heart❤️

We are at pre-op at University of Colorado hospital today. Our entire team along with Justin and I are buzzing with excitement! Met with Peri's surgeon, Dr. Michael Wachs as well as my surgeon, Dr. Elizabeth Pomfret; they are incredible people with fighting attitudes; couldn't ask for better! Chest x-ray, blood work and a meeting with anesthesia this am. Will keep you all posted on our journey. Love to all of you who are helping us through this. Your prayers, financial and moral support are carrying us along our way and we are eternally grateful. Xox
