Rebecca's breast campaign

Hi everyone and thanks for coming to my fundraiser! My name is Rebecca and I need some help! I'm a transgender woman living in St John's Newfoundland, Canada who started my transition 3 years ago. My journey has had its ups and downs but lately it has been very exciting because I've reached a huge milestone - I have finally gotten to the point in my journey where I am planning to get breast augmentation surgery, and I even have a date, May 18th, 2016! This is what I need your help with.

In the last 3 years I have gotten connected with great doctors, I have gotten on hormones, and have become a blogger, community educator and activist pulling on my experience to advocate for all the trans people in my city and my province. In the last year, thinking about this surgery, I have also saved up over half of what I need but I'm not there yet.

This surgery means a lot to me - more than you could know. Besides coming out in the first place it will be the most significant step I have taken yet. Your donations will help me raise the rest of the money I need for my surgery and recovery.
