Tragic home loss due to fire

This afternoon I went to my grandparent's house to visit them as I usually would. As my Nina, Nonno, 6-week-old daughter, and I were all sitting together in the living room, I started to smell smoke. Within seconds of smelling the smoke, we all got up and were surrounded by the smoke. As we tried to open the front door, we were met with a dark cloud of smoke and realized we could not get out that way. We all rushed to the back of the house and through smoke until we finally got to the front of the yard, where I instantly took the picture that was posted. We realized that the house was now engulfed in flames. This was the house that my family grew up in and all of our childhood memories were in. This is a devastating loss and my grandparents have lost everything that they had in their home. Anything would help as we are trying to deal with this loss. We are all so thankful that we were able to get out of the house safely.
