Steve's Gonna Win
The diagnosis of stage IV Pancreatic Cancer is not one that anyone handles well. Steve is not anyone. He is the one whom we all can root for, because he is that guy who would root for all of us.
The uphill battle is one that so many families already know, and they know how hard it is. In order to beat the odds, we need to not only put it in God's hands, but we need to look into His hands for the perfect plan. And then execute tht plan, and then trust. And whatever happens will happen from there.
I write this story as a friend. One who has incredible faith, but one who knows that there is mystery in God's actions. Prayer is requested more than money. But we want to support Steve's battle with this cancer and we want to at least know that he was given the opportunity to win. Thank you and God bless.
The Tengzelius family is one that emulates the love of Christ. Giving and sharing from whatever resources they have, to provide for whomever comes in their path.
The diagnosis of stage IV Pancreatic Cancer is not one that anyone handles well. Steve is not anyone. He is the one whom we all can root for, because he is that guy who would root for all of us. Down to Earth, humble, hardworker, gracious and giving are the words that people use to describe Steve.
Steve is following a protocol known as the Gerson Therapy right now, if you are interested in reading more about this you can go to the Gerson Institute online. This is an alternative therapy to traditional chemotherapy or radiation. Steve will be undergoing chemo as well, but currently is working to be accepted into the Cleveland Clinic.
Prayer Time - weekly, Wednesday at 12:30pm we would ask everyone on this team to pray for the healing of Steve. We of course, appreciate all other prayers, but very specifically believe in the power of a group coming together at the same time, in the same moment, and in that moment leaning deeply into the power that made the body, to be the power that heals the body.
As anything changes with Steve's health, or the Tengzelius family as a whole, we will report it here. For now, we'll support this, but will assume we will hear directly from Steve and Loree shortly.
For now please consider providing some financial assistance, as getting into any of the clinics that they are interested in will be expensive, or consider helping with providing food for the family or Steve's Juicing efforts.
Meal Train - Just consider Steve's efforts to be as vegetarian as possible right now (non pasta) and the family's need to eat, thank you.
Thank you for your concern for them, the body of Christ is a powerful thing. God Bless.
