Last week the mini van that we use to transport children in our outreach programs was involved in an accident.  A car ran a red light and crashed into the side of our van.  There were five kids in the car along with our tutoring coordinator, who was driving.  By the grace of God and seatbelts, all the children emerged okay except for some minor bruises. Early, the driver, is recovering from some back and chest pain.  We are incredibly lucky that no one was seriously injured and so very thankful.  However, we are now confronted with the reality that the van is totaled and we do not have transportation for our kids. The mini van was used to get kids to our tutoring program, take Youth Leaders to volunteer and get players to Saturday Soccer, team practices, games and tournaments.  Although the van was old, we had hoped it would last a couple more years til we could fundraise for a 12 passenger van.  We are asking for your support to help us purchase a used van now.  Our programming is essentially crippled without a large vehicle to transport kids. Please give what you can.  Thank you so much!
