The city of Boston loves parades. Boston has the St. Patrick's day parade, Dorchester day parade, the Roslindale parade, parades for our sport's teams, just to name a few.
On July 22, 2018, will be the inaugural Roxbury Unity Parade. Roxbury was one of the original towns of the Massachusetts Bay Colonies.
Roxbury, known for being the heart and soul of Boston's black culture, will be celebrated for her beauty, diversity, culture, and her resiliency. We will pay homage to Roxbury. She is a queen like no other. Her recognition for the contributions she has made and the sacrifices she has endured for the city of Boston are long overdue.
