Touch of Sparkle
The idea is to spread a little care and humanity and try to lighten the load for patients. The packages include:
- Practical items (e.g. bed socks, tissues, sweets, herbal tea for anti-sickness)
- Distractions (e.g. puzzle book, notebook, pen, earphones, playing cards)
- Pamper items (e.g. nail varnish, moisturiser, lipbalm)
The items are purchased from donations to this gofundme page and via an Amazon wishlist
http://www.amazon.co.uk/registry/wishlist/21CWF040BBHYS in addition to donations from national, local and online businesses. They are then packaged and delivered to patients at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, UK.
Any donations, however small, are very much appreciated to help us spread a touch of sparkle and lend a helping hand to those facing this difficult journey.
Next month we will be donating 50 Easter care packs to patients at the oncology department. If you would like to help, please see our fundraising page at www.gofundme.com/touchofsparkle or our Amazon wishlist at http://www.amazon.co.uk/registry/wishlist/21CWF040BBHYS Thank you!
Our next project will involve donating 50 care packs to great cancer patients at the Addenbrooke’s Breast Unit later in March.
Thank you to everyone for their kind and continued support. To help us fill more packs, please see our gofundme www.gofundme.com/touchofsparkle or our Amazon wishlist at https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/21CWF040BBHYS.

If you would like to help us fill more packs, please see www.gofundme.com/touchofsparkle or our Amazon wishlist at http://www.amazon.co.uk/registry/wishlist/21CWF040BBHYS Thank you! xx
Have a lovely Christmas! ❄️ ☃️
I would like to say how very touched I was yesterday when on attending my appointment before I start my radiotherapy next week to be given one of your Sparkle bags. I have been very humbled by all love people have shown me. It really shows we do live in a very caring world. The staff I have so far met at the hospital are some of the most caring I have ever met.Every thing in the pack is useful and the cracker and chocolates very seasonal. Many thanks to all of you and a Happy New Year. Margaret Smith
Thank you so much for the lovely feedback Margaret :) So lovely to hear that the care pack was useful. Sending all our love and best wishes for your radiotherapy xx
Well done Diane very proud of you. Donation made.
