We are the family and friends of Tori Enos. We love our Tori, as do most who cross paths with her in life. Quite simply, Tori is a total sweetheart.
In the early morning hours of May 5th, Tori woke to get a glass of water from her kitchen. In her kitchen, she was immediately attacked and stabbed multiple times by a home intruder. The intruder fled the scene, leaving Tori in life-threatening condition with multiple stab wounds to the torso, back and arm along with a collapsed lung. She was required to undergo emergency surgery to save her life.
The good news is our Tori is going to survive. It's a tremendous relief to remove that huge weight of uncertainty. We love our Tori and are ecstatic that she will remain with us. So happy about that fact! The bad news is Tori's attacker remains unidentified and that she still faces a long path to recovery. We trust and have confidence that the Portage (MI) Police Department will bring the attacker to justice and we, Tori's family and friends, will be there to support our Tori for every step of her recovery.
This GoFundMe page is expressly being set up to help Tori and her family with medical and living expenses. Tori is a breadwinner for her three teenaged children, working multiple jobs while still filling the demanding role of mother. We are hoping to raise funds to alleviate as much of this concern for Tori as we possibly can. She's earned our support with her generosity and compassion over the years. This is our time to return that support.
