Tony's Mission Trip to Cambodia

Donation protected
Dear Brothers and Sisters. I will be going to Cambodia to teach pastors from August 21-25, 2017. Cambodia is a country of 15,206,000 people.   96.4%  of the country is Buddhist and there are less than 2% Evangelical Christians in the country. There are currently 31 unreached people groups in Cambodia. There are also other cults in the country that Christian missionaries need to contend with.

Most of the people within the country continue to live in poverty. The average annual family income is less than $1,000, or less than $3 a day. The spiritual darkness that permeates Cambodian culture is heart-wrenching. Tragically, the increased tourism that Cambodia has recently experienced is in large measure owed to the growing sex trade industry, which consists of thousands of young victims who have been sold into the industry often by their own families, sometimes for less than $10.  As a result, Cambodia now has one of the highest rates of HIV/AIDS in all of Asia. The church in Cambodia finds itself as the vast minority and is often exposed to opposition.

Your financial support will help cover my travel costs to Cambodia and back. While I am there I will be teaching pastors a  whole week course on theology. This will help them to grow in their knowledge of the Word of God and provide them with tools to better understand the Scriptures and how to teach their churches and fellowships.  It is my prayer that the Lord will bless and continue to build His church in Cambodia and that the Gospel will spread throughout the country to bring people to a saving knowledge of Christ. Thank you all in advance.
