"To my pink lady" film post production

Thank you for taking the time to read this campaign for the completion of the short film "To my pink lady" and its submission to the 2019 film festivals (first up will be the Venice Film Festival).
We shot the film at the end of March and the cast was simply amazing: Cristina Rambaldi in the role of Cristina, Andria Kozica in the role of Dakota (Cristina's best friend, representing her real 7 dearest girlfriends), 10 year old Aria Lyric Leabu in the role of young Cristina and performance artist Tree-man.
I could not be more happy for what we have already achieved, everyone in the production was great.
Now we are in the complex process of post production (editing, score, sound design and color grading) and more of your kind help is required, but I promise you: we are almost there... at the finish line!
The short film is in memory of my friend Cristina Belenchia, an incredible beautiful strong Woman who fought breast cancer first and leukemia after with the strength and the spirit of a Lioness.
During the second part of her Leukemia treatments, Cristina started a beautiful blog called "My Pink Chemo" where she premised to be feminine and frivolous (pink) giving helpful tips to other girls in her same situation, and also where she found a virtual place to open up, to fearlessly share her thoughts, feelings and dreams.
An introspective journey exploring the boundaries between life and death, friendship and time, lack of daily routines and pleasures, the blog is-was-will be always a great inspiration for any reader.
Inspired by her story I co-wrote this short film to pay a tribute to her and her beautiful blog.
Also if I raise more money than necessary I would love to donate the rest to the "Gesundheit! Institute" where children are treated everyday by Patch Adams and his wonderful team. It is my personal dream since I had the fortune to take a portrait of him in 2012.
