Tom Patrick- Celebration of the Botany Father

Tom's colleagues at GA Dept. of Natural Resources are collecting to honor his legacy of botanical conservation and buoy him and his family during his tough fight with cancer.

Tom is undergoing radiation and chemotherapy for cancer that has metastasized. Funds will be used to offset medical expenses during his long-term treatment. The treatment has caused Tom to be so sick that he cannot easily be in the woods with family and friends- a love that is critical to his happiness. So our gift will also be used to support Tom and show him how much we value his dedication to Georgia's natural heritage and his immeasurable contribution to the botanical community.
