Tom O'Halloran Olympic selection campaign

My name is Tom O’Halloran and I am currently training to make the Australian Olympic Climbing Team. Representing Australia at the Olympics has been a dream of mine since 2000, when I watched the Sydney Olympics. Now that climbing is a part of the Olympics, I have the opportunity to try to make the team and make the dream come true.
 
I am trying  to raise funds to help make this dream a reality. In the lead up to qualifications in March next year, I am looking to gain much needed experience on the international competition stage as well as trying to train at an elite level while being a Dad, partner and working.

The money will go to travelling to domestic and international competitions, training camps as well as the associated competition fees and licenses.

Recently I competed in the Australian National Championships, which I won. This was the qualifying event for Australian climbers to compete at the Oceania championships in March. Oceania is the Olympic qualifying event for Australian climbers.

There are so many people who need support in the world, so it feels uncomfortable raising money for an Olympic dream, but the support is needed to make it happen and I would love to share the journey with you.  

Any amount is a huge help and I am extremely, extremely grateful for the help and support.
