Tom Gilbert Family Support | PLEASE HELP

I am starting this GoFundMe page on behalf of the Gilbert Family and with Vicki's blessing...my dear friends who I have known for over 15 years.
On July 4th, Tom was not aware, but he suffered a heart attack to the bottom section of his heart. He walked around for 10 full days not knowing that he had a heart attack - but was getting weaker each day - he thought he was just having major heartburn. As the days went on - he was having trouble breathing and shortness of breath - and Vicki demanded that he go to the urgent care clinic. Once at urgent care - they actually called an ambulance saying he had pneumonia, and knew he was in very serious condition.
He was taken to Plano Presbyterian Hospital where they discovered the heart issues were even more serious than the lung issues. He had emergency heart surgery and they found that he had 100% blockage on one side and 90% blockage on the other side. Two stents were inserted into the heart and he was doing well for a short time - but then started having major breathing issues - and could not catch his breath - which caused his heart rate to be extremely high and a major concern. He was then rushed to ICU where he has been intubated and in a medically induced coma for the past couple of days as they want his heart to get some rest and go back to addressing the problems with his lungs.
They are now concerned that he has ARDS - Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome which is VERY SERIOUS.
The family needs your support, as Tom is self-employed and does not have medical insurance at this time.
