Margaret has asked me to share that Tom has passed.
This wonderful, strong, kind and beautiful young man died surrounded by his loving family.
We will continue to surround them with our love and support.

Margaret has asked me to share the following heartbreaking update on Tom's condition:
"Today we learnt that the signs we saw as positive were involuntary movements, such as when you put your finger in a newborn's hand and squeeze. The MRI showed that Tom's brain injury was extremely traumatic and he will not recover from these injuries. The initial impact is what caused the injury and the length of time until Tom was found has no bearing on the severity of his condition.
Only closest family and friends can visit Tom at this time. I hope everyone understands. We have only got a few days with our precious young man and we need to spend all the time we can with him."

On Thursday morning the 21st June, Tom was involved in a horrific car accident. He sustained severe head and abdomen injuries and was initially taken to the Rockhampton Hospital in a critical but stable condition before being flown to a Brisbane Hospital in a critical condition.
Tom is a great bloke. He is also a fighter, he is strong, and he has the love and support of his family and friends. We have set-up this page in an attempt to help ease the financial pressure on Margaret and Max while they are with Tom in Brisbane during this difficult time.
Anyone who knows the Fletchers knows how kind and generous they are and that they are always willing to help out those in need.
