On Monday, April 22, 2019, during a home invasion, the robbers came in and shot at our dog, Toby nine times, hitting him twice and killing him.
We are completely devastated by the loss of our beloved dog, who was simply defending our home. We are the stereotypical elderly couple who's lives revolved around our Toby.
Initially we were personally offering a reward of $250 to anyone coming forward with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.
After posting our reward offer on our community Face Book page, the support and response was overwhelming, both in terms of emotional support as well as monetary pledges towards the Reward.
If the reward money is not paid out within six months (by October 31, 2019), all money raised will be donated to the shelter where we adopted Toby, PAWS Atlanta on Covington Highway.
We would like to thank everyone for their support in our effort to bring Toby's killers to justice.
