To Keep Apartment

As well, if we make goal: I will start streaming Subnautica as a series. I have a phobia of deep water, so I have never touched the game, though I got it for free a little while back. Watching me play a game that will legit creep me out could be a good challenge and quite funny.

Edit The second: I have been informed that, with the Government Shutdown, we are also losing our foodstamps until it ends. This means more decisions towards rent or food. Any amounts people can give will be incredibly helpful! And don't forget to help your local food pantries; they frequently struggle to help those in need, and will need your help more than ever.

So we had a previous GoFundMe about our rent. We only raised half of what we need, and the courts allowed us to keep our apartment on a 'no miss' kind of probation.

Well, as you can see, our November payment somehow disappeared, but they found it; the catch on the mail-slot in the office is a nylon bag. The money orders missed it and fell under the desk.
That's why that is not factored in to the amount on this GoFundMe page; the printout says we did not pay it, but we did, and they have it.

Also listed on the printout is NEXT MONTHS rent. Another reason for the difference in amount. And I apologize for the quality; all I have is a bad webcam.

Anyways, to the reason behind December being missed, and our troubles:
My sister needed to quit her job; a mysogonyst had this attitude of 'I know better than any woman' and 'no woman can tell me what to do' and always just acting horrible, but management would not really do anything, and it was a family-owned business. So better to just walk.

She got her old job back, but only at 2 days a week, and rent, as you can see, has not factored that into the payments as of yet. So we owe, monthly, 'full time job' rent payments.

I, due to a mental disability (autism), and a bad leg, cannot hold a job. I do  have disability, but I also have to pay the electric bill, internet, & food on top of my part of the rent.

I'm not resting on my laurels, though; I am learning to code, to try and find a work-from-home job, but I need to keep the apartment to keep studying.
I mention this so anyone thinking of donating will know that we are trying hard on our end to fix the problem as well. We are not just expecting handouts while we sit around doing nothing.

If we can get this 1/3rd to 1/2 cleared, I will be forever grateful. If we somehow nail the entire  amount..I will probably dance for joy. Once rent is caught up, we can STAY caught up.
My sisters new payment will be reflected properly and we won't be paying on back owed rent we can barely afford.

No matter the amount donated by people, no matter how close or far from the goal we get, I will say thank you here and now, and again and again to those who help with donations or signal boosting.
