Some help is needed

While I'd like to make this eloquent and thoughtful, I got a lot of facts that I need to get out there. Please bear with me.

From August 2016 until June 2017, I was unemployed as I waited to see if my SSI case would be approved. During this time, I relied on what little savings I had and my credit card to get me through. In spring 2017, my lawyer informed me that he didn't believe my case was strong enough and dropped me. Well, earlier this month (July 2018) I received notice that the state had granted my SSI case a hearing set for October. This has thrown my whole life into a tornado.

My current part-time, terrible, rotten retail job is becoming harder for me to handle due to my health and compromising my financial security. When our fiscal year started for 2018 it brought lots of unexpected changes. These changes negatively affected me to where I only average 5-10 hours a week (there are some weeks where they don't schedule me at all). This is extremely hard to live on when you only make $8.50 an hour, have bills to pay, and roughly almost $4,000 in credit card debt. I show up to work and don't complain. I am mature, responsible, and get my job done. But they're screwing me over left and right due to unrealistic pressure from corporate.

I cannot work a fulltime job. My mental and physical health can't handle it; this is why I sought out SSI in the first place. There's no guarantee I'll win my case, because I was forced back into the workplace out of dire need, but I am going to try. If approved, I probably won't see any financial help until 2019. This leaves me in a bind when factoring in my current job situation and debt.

I don't drive, can't afford it, so my mom transports me. Our van needs all 4 tires replaced soon, that'll cost around $400-500. We got a tax payment on our house due soon that'll be $250. And one of our cats is really sick, so we're making an unplanned vet trip this weekend for him; which I'll more than likely have to put on the credit card because I won't have the money to cover it.

Any and all help is greatly welcomed. I have a GFM goal set at $300 because that seemed like a decent and realistic number. You can donate on GFM or through my PayPal; it's c6290 at hotmail dot com. Any money I get will go into the bank to help with bills for mom and me. My mom's on disability due to a degenerative back condition, so we don't have a lot of money coming in between us.

Like I said, anything big or small will help. Thanks a bunch, and God bless.
