Heat in the Frozen Winter

Most of the time I love the winter, I love the snow, I love coming home to a warm house, a blanket and a mug of hot chocolate. I can still do that, but now my brother can not.
The other day his furnace died right in the middle of the coldest part of the year where night time temperatures drop to between -20 and -40 Celsius (between -4 and -40 fahrenheit.) Last weekend, the day time temperature was -43. He and his wife have two kids, a four year old boy and a little girl who is just two months old. They've had to move the whole family out, squeezing into spare rooms and bouncing the kids between the two sets of grandparent because the house is unlivable. It's so hard on the kids not being able to be at home, especially on my four year old nephew who doesn't understand what's happening except that he's not allowed to go to his house and sleep in his bed.
We've looked everywhere we possibly can to find the money for a replacement. We've looked at every avenue, talked to banks and lenders, looked into government sponsored loans but he doesn't qualify for any of it since he's currently still dealing with debt repayment. His wife is off on maternaty leave to care for the new born, both sets of parents (ours and his wife's) are in tight financial positions and quite simply, there is no one from which to borrow the money.
The winter's here are hard and long. We routinely still get snow well into April (this photo was taken April of 2015.) My brother's family simply can not be without heat. I love my niece and nephew more than anything else in the world and I just want to be able to get them back into their house and to get their lives back in order.
All funds raised here will go towards the purchase and installation of a new furnace for my brothers house, and every little bit you could spare I would be so endlessly grateful for.
