EARTHFEST Gives to Syracuse Grows

Donation protected
EARTHFEST, sponsored by Syracuse University Sustainability Division, the New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG), and Students of Sustainability (SOS), is a communty-wide, sustainability-themed music and art festival celebrating Earth Day in the Thornden Park Amphitheater on Sunday, April 24, 2016, 11:30am-6pm.

100% of all proceeds raised through EARTHFEST, both online and in-person at the event, will go towards community gardens and urban farms supported by Syracuse Grows. Syracuse Grows is a not-for-profit grassroots network that cultivates food justice through advocacy, education, and resources in support of urban food production. Syracuse Grows is in the midst of hosting the 8th Annual Spring Resource Drive where volunteers will assist community gardens and urban farms in preparation for the growing season. Syracuse Grows supports 25 gardens and farms throughout the greater Syracuse area.  Money raised will go towards providing seedlings, tools and equipment, lumber, manure, compost, mulch, rain barrels, and other planting and gardening materials to growing sites throughout Syracuse.

We greatly appreciate and value any support provided. It is because of community support that we are able to continue our mission of supporting community gardens and urban farms throughout Syracuse.
