My name is Earl - I am the father of a 10 year old little girl. Her name is Dana - She has cancer, The name of her Cancer is Neuroblastoma of the brain and it is Stage 4. This type of Cancer is rare - there is approx. 10 cases worldwide at this time and I am sorry to say - there is NO KNOWN CURE. When she started her treatments -there was several treatments at our disposal to try. None have worked and we are down to the following options:
MIBG - which uses radation and radioactive medications that will hopefully destroy the cancer .
Expermental Drugs - no one knows if they will work and or what the side affects are.
or
DO NOTHING and let nature take its course .
currently her cancer has spread into her liver and has taken out her the lymph nodes in her neck, her eye sight has decreased by approx 60%. - the cancer keeps spreading and the likelyhood of finding a cure and or a treatment is approaching 0%.
The money that we are trying to Raise will send her back to Disney 1 more time and or make life alot easier for us - we need the funds as fast as we can get them - I cannot do this alone, please help me make this little girls wish a reallity.
Now to put the icing on the cake - approx 10 days ago - I was told that I have stomach cancer. I am in constant pain. Ladies and Gentlemen - I have tried to make my Daughter happy - I have always put her care first and now I am in the same boat as her. PLEASE put a smile on my face as well.
