I would like to share with you a life changing story from a dear friend of mine,  Allison Moudy.  16 years ago Allison had a son, T.J. Thomas.  After he was born he underwent lots of tests, procedures, and exams.  T.J. was soon diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.  16 years of physical/occupational therapy, intense exams, surgeries and hard work T.J. started his sophomore at MVSHS.  Soon after starting his sophomore year T.J. started not feeling good.  He would get headaches, low grade fevers and was lethargic.  So back to more testing.  On October 26, 2018 T.J. was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).  He was rushed to Riley hospital in Indianapolis where a team of doctors worked on a plan for T.J. to beat this monster.  T.J. soon started traveling back and forth to Riley for chemo once a week.   A month after being diagnosed, T.J. and his family received the news that his cancer cells have a very rare genetic mutation called JAX.  So to ensure that T.J. beats this monster the doctors added an extra chemo that he started in December.  The plan of treatment now is for T.J. to travel to Riley in Indianapolis once a week for the next month and then will continue treatments for at least the next two in half years.  Because of this Allison has had to quit her job as a day care teacher to stay home with T.J.  As you can imagine the medical bills alone are stacking up, and then the expense of traveling and overnight stays.  I am asking you to please share your love for this remarkable young man and his family in any way you can.  You can help by just sharing his story, participating in any upcoming fundraisers (I will keep you posted), or a monetary donation.
