This tiny little fighter has proved that he deserves a chance to run with the big dogs. Milo Bean is a four month old Pembroke Welsh Corgi who has stolen the hearts of countless with his tiny stature, adventurous spirit and gentle disposition.

Poor little man became gravely ill this past weekend and had his Human planning for the 'worst case scenario'.  With every test, he threw his vet a curveball. What started as a possible liver issue has actually turned out to be acute renal failure. His little kidneys have been seriously damaged but our little fighter has rallied once again and we have seen some improvement in his kidney labs.

Milo will need continued care for at least the next three to five days. Though his Human is a nurse, there is a limit to what she can accomplish for him and she needs special help.

We we could really use your help right now to fund Milo's continued care. We think that with a few more days of treatment this little blessing can turn the corner and survive. It's pretty spendy, but we have such hope for the little man.

We also know that it is Christmas time and everyone is working hard to give their families a great holiday. If you can't contribute, please share this page and get his word out!!

Thank you for your continued prayers and support for our special little man!! He may be small but he is fierce!!

Lets end 2016 on a positive note and get our Christmas Miracle!!

love,
Cait, Oliver and of course, Milo

In my grief last night, I forgot to update this campaign page about the loss of our little Milo... he crossed the Rainbow Bridge at around 5:15pm. He fought so hard but in the end, his tiny body succumbed. We were able to bring him peace at the end and I was holding him, loving on him when he passed. What a blessing!

Thank you everyone for your donations and most especially prayers! I could not have gotten through this week without you.

Love always,
Cait

Not as much positive news as I'd hoped to have this morning. Little man didn't make any progress on his treatments yesterday as we'd hoped. He's now more symptomatic with pain and hypertension. I had to medicate him twice for pain overnight. He slept with me and we both had a restless night. Uncle Oliver is concerned about the wee lad and curious about all his weird smells. He refused food for me today and ate poorly last night.

More of the same treatment today... trying to turn this frown upside down.

Morning update for our Bean...

He is at the vet now getting all kind of love and good things to make him feel better. We'll see how he's doing later today when they run those kidney function levels again. He is such a fighter! The little man ate so much for me last night and this morning and even had a goodie. We are now more hopeful than cautiously optimistic!!! Let's save Bean!!
On the way to the vet today...
Bean and his Uncle Oliver!!
