SOUTH HADLEY TIGER CHEERLEADERS ARE MAKING HISTORY!
The South Hadley Tiger Cheerleaders have recently placed third in the state, out of 18 teams, in the 2016 Fall Cheerleading Game Day State Competition in Marlboro, MA. This placement has earned them a bid to compete in the 2017 UCA National Championship in February.
The National High School Cheerleading Championship is the most prestigious cheerleading championship in the country, and it is held at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL. It is nationally televised on ESPN and ESPN2 to over 100 million homes and 32 countries nationwide each year.
Because of their amazing spirit and determination, the Tigers have made history. This is the first South Hadley Cheerleading squad to compete in this competition, and what makes this so extraordinary, is this was accomplished by a very dedicated squad of only eight cheerleaders, Competing in Nationals is a very special event for these cheerleaders because this small group of eight will be representing all of Western Mass!!
