Dance Contest for Costa Rica Chicas

If you’ve had the opportunity to travel, you know what an eye-opening and transformative thing it can be. We’ve started this campaign to raise travel funds for Angie and Seline, two lovely young Costa Rican teens who have the honor of competing in the festival de las Cultura dance contest in Jalisco, Mexico!

Costa Rica is one of the happiest countries in the world, but there is still an incredibly high poverty rate, and travel is not something easily accessible to locals who make anywhere from $2-4 an hour. 

We’ve listed the amount at $1,000 to aim for 2 round trip tickets, and any other travel expenses these talented dancers might need. Any other donations above this will go to future education and creative pursuits for these wonderful young ladies!

The contest is in January, so we’ve set this campaign with a short turn around in order to make this happen! Please consider chipping in today with whatever you can to support these girls, broaden their horizon, and encourage their creative pursuits and dreams!
