THUMBS UP! Need your help x

Hello everyone! We are an applied theatre company in our third year of university, setting out to help as many as people we can. For our dissertation, we are planning on touring different dementia care homes and putting on reminiscence based performances and workshops to celebrate our participant's lives, and encourage communication. However, to be able to complete our goals the five members of Thumbs Up! all need DBS checks. We cannot work with our participant's until we have this in place. As students, we are struggling to afford this and the university will not subsidise this expense, or any other expenses needed for us to undertake this project. We also need money for different supplies and props as this is an ongoing project over the next academic year. We understand that this is a lot to ask, but if you could donate anything we would be extremely grateful. This would really kickstart our project and make it the best it could be for our participants.
