Emmy, Most Amazing Cat Cancer Fund

Donation protected

Emmy, self-proclaimed most amazing cat in the world was just diagnosed with probable fibrosarcoma on her hip.   It's almost been a year since losing my eldest cat, Oscar, from the same thing.  I want to do all I can to help Emmy live life to her fullest, though that usually means sleeping, eating, and just being fluffy extraordinaire.

She has a best friend, my eight year old daughter, who you can see is very fond of Emmy.   Of course, when Bailey was a newborn, Emmy was not fond of all attention she lost, so she appropriated Bailey's things as her own.  They eventually worked it all out.

Now, I am not the kind of person to ask for financial help, however, between the CT scan ($1000), surgery ($2500), and possible radiation treatments ($6000), costs will add up to about almost $10,000.   And while there are some people in this world who may look at a pet as just an animal, I look at her as family; another child that I would do anything to help.

Even though our furry children can’t tell us what’s wrong or if we should even bother with trying to help them, Emmy has no other issues that would prevent her from living a relatively healthy existence of waiting for the red dot to come to her and waking me up every morning looking for food.

But, I can’t do it alone.   So, that’s why Emmy needs the Internet.  She’s a self-proclaimed diva, honey badger, khalessi, and all around the most interesting cat in the world and I want her to stay that way.
