Let me get this straight, the Daily Tele send a paparazzi to stakeout a pub for 10 hours, take photos with a telephoto lens from a hard-to-reach spot across the road – and then take the moral high ground on the front page of a national paper.

The NRL will see through that right? Nope.

Cue the biggest overreaction in Australian sport this year.

The Tele don’t get the last say. We do.

While the powers-that-be continue to pile mistake on mistake in handling the Bulldogs Mad Monday antics…  let’s turn a negative into a positive.

Anyone who has ever had a few too many and done something they regret, it’s time to make amends and stand by our mates: Adam Elliott, Asipeli Fine, Marcelo Montoya and Zac Woolford.

Throw some cash in and leave a comment about either:

1.  Why you love this football team.

2.  Share your "Mad Monday Moment". We've all been there (most of us). It’s not about bragging, it’s about owning up to your mistakes and trying to make amends.

It’s also about showing the outrage brigade that they can’t win.

All proceeds will go to the charity, The Australian Men’s Shed Association (https://mensshed.org/ ). It’s a not-for-profit organisation that provides men around Australia with a place to go to when they feel isolated from their community. They are recognised as one of Australia’s largest male-based community development organisations.

If we can get this spreading far and wide, we may just put pressure on the NRL to donate some that quarter-of-a-million-dollars they just earned.
