Let’s start from the beginning and introduce ourselves. We are two friends with a common passion for travelling and doing good (plus foreign languages) who met in Brussels over a decade ago in the grey European Commission buildings where we were both doing a five-month traineeship.
This summer there is no plan to laze on a sunny beach, but rather to drive 13,000 km from Brussels (or Milan) to Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia between mid July and mid August in a second hand utility vehicle. Why will we be doing that? Well partly because we are a tad crazy and partly to support various charities - more on that below.
The two drivers who will exchange duties at the wheel are Raffaele Sena, a lawyer/photographer/musician from Naples and Francesco Falco, a Brit/Italian who has downgraded from both countries and now resides in Belgium.
