Thomas Campbell, Glencullen

Most people know by now that my Dad, Thomas Campbell had a stroke on a flight 3hours from Miami on Friday. He is in the ICU in the University Hospital of Miami and has already underwent two surgerys, one was having three blood clots removed from his brain. He is receiving the best possible health care but even in the best circumstances he will not be able to fly home for at least a month or more and that's with everything going well. I set up this page to try and help with any costs that my mam will have having to stay in Miami for so long and for any financial help they will need while out of the country.
At the moment we have enough money for my Mam's accommodation for 8 weeks and nothing else, so I have raised the target as we got some news early this morning that my Dad's recovery might take longer than expected. He has more swelling and bleeding on his brain and this is going to slow everything down.
We just want my Mam to be as comfortable as possible and not have to worry about how she is going to pay for her room for the next few months. We realise the amount raised so far is a huge amount of money and appreciate every euro donated but as this could go on for a very long time are asking for your support for a bit longer. If you could please share this as much as you can and spread the word through the community that would be great.
Thank you all so much, all your support really means the world to us. xx
