Two weeks ago my dear friends and colleagues of mine in the Pilates community in Costa Rica received the heartbreaking news that their sweet two year old baby boy, Mauricio, had a large brain tumor pressing on the part of the brain that allows for breathing and swallowing.    


He has gone through emergency brain surgery.  Mauricio is a champion,but has a long road ahead of him.  His Parents Carolina and Ignacio are with their son every moment that the hospital allows, thus all the hours they were spending at the studio supporting their family are currently difficult and emotionally challenging.  

They own a pilates studio and as any studio owner or small business owner knows how difficult it is financially when everything is running smoothly.  I know the power of community and how we can all come together to help.  I am reaching out to all the angels of the world near and far to help this beautiful family have time to care of their baby boy, at least for the next several months without having to worry about teaching if they cannot due to time and emotion.
