Things Obliterate And Take Form' is a summation of two years of collaborative exchange between myself, Sara Goodman (Chicago) and James Usill (London), across multiple social media platforms using various glitch aesthetic techniques and digital processes. Our joint disposition for bold colours, maximalism, and the abstract brought us together to create expressionist digital pieces which have lived and existed in net spaces until now.
The act of displaying our work pays homage to the way the internet can bring two seeming strangers together from across the ocean. The printed, hung, and displayed work is a testament to our friendship and collaboration and the deep roots formed in the international Glitch Art community. Things Obliterate and Take Form is an exhibition of a body of collaborative works as well as a selection of Goodman and Usill's solo work.
James and I have worked super hard to make 40 prints for the upcoming show but we need a bit of help with the cost of framing the work!
The show will be exhibited at Stour Space

A multi media venue and gallery space in London. The show will take place from July 9th-17th with an opening on the 9th. There will be a live performance and a Tachyons + VJ doing live analog distortion visuals. We think this is going to be one bad ass event and the art speaks for itself!

We know that our society so often overlooks funding for the arts and that is why we are turning to you to help us! Every little bit counts and funding this project will bring a unique style to Hackney Wick in East London!!
For 40 frames we estimate a cost of around $600 using reasonably priced Ikea frames. The 75 extra is because we will actually be buying the frames in London so they will be purchased in pounds and whatever extra we have after will go towards refreshments for the opening exhibition!
We know that times are tough and there are a million causes to be donating to right now! It is our hope that many people will donate just a little-- the amount of bus fare or a movie ticket or a case of beer, you get the idea!
Your support keeps us DIY artists doing what we love to do. James and I are super grateful for anything you can donate and we will be sure to return the love with the gift of our art !
