THE WAY (WHO ARE YOU) PROJECT 0.16
Nowadays media pushes society to focus only on the physical appearance of a woman. It ignores her true being, her personality and inner feelings.
The WAY Project 0.16 aims at restoring the Natural Woman, the Woman everybody knows, as a friend, as a wife, as a neighbour... The Woman that it is not highlighted nowadays.
The WAY Project 0.16 is part of a worldwide and visual revolution against fashion standards. It resorts to non-professional models and minimal make up (Nude effect). Each photograph has a non-verbal message: the woman’s personality and feelings.
By voluntarily offering professional skills of an experienced photograph (TFP), the WAY Project 0.16 encourages self-expression, boost of self- esteem, and development of creativity of each participant.
As from now, 40 Brazilian Women are already participating. You can see the beginning of the work here: http://holswen.tumblr.com/
THE CREATOR
Niels Holswen is a German Photographer and DJ Producer.
Born in France, he spent most of his childhood in Germany.
In 2010, he moved to Canada where he performed as a DJ Producer. He then travelled through America and Asia, and discovered a passion for photography.
On top of the WAY Project 0.16, Niels is also directing the “Animals & Macro” Project, aiming at xxxxxx (secret)
He is now based in Sydney, Australia.

As a visual media, it has to be seen to reach a wider audience and have greater impact.
The WAY Project 0.16 has the ambition to exhibit the photographs.
In order to do so, it needs to finance a professional camera ( Canon 6d ) to enhance the quality of the work.

Hoje em dia a mídia faz a sociedade focar somente na aparência física das mulheres. Ignora quem ela realmente é, sua personalidade e sentimentos.
O Projeto "The WAY" 0.16 tem como objetivo restaurar a Mulher natural, a Mulher que todos conhecem, como uma amiga, esposa, vizinha... a mulher que não esta em destaque atualmente.
Este projeto é parte de uma revolução mundial e visual em relação aos padrões de moda, recorrendo a modelos amadoras e pouca maquiagem (efeito Nude). Cada fotografia tem uma mensagem não verbal: a personalidade e sentimentos da mulher.
Ao oferecer voluntariamente habilidades experientes de fotografia (TFP), o projeto incentiva a auto expressão, aumento da auto estima e desenvolvimento da criatividade de cada participante.

O CRIADOR
Niels Holswen é um fotógrafo e DJ alemão. Nascido na França, ele passou a maior parte de sua infância na Alemanha. Em 2010 se mudou para o Canada onde se apresentou como DJ. Ele então viajou pela America e Asia, descobrindo uma paixão por fotografia.
Niels também está dirigindo o projeto "Animals & Macro" (Animais e Macro), com o objetivo de xxxxxx (mais informações em breve)
Ele agora vive em Sydney, Australia.
