* Although $20,000 is our "ultimate" starting goal for leasing the property and covering projected start up costs, any little bit counts towards opening this space*
Everything that is raised through this fundraiser goes towards the first 6 months lease, community materials for our classes and workshops including yoga mats and chairs (that will be kept at the center), A Sign, marketing materials, other maintenance/start up costs, and the fundraising cost for Go Fund Me. We need to raise atleast two months worth of rent to make this happen, which equals $5000! We can do it with your support! (All future fundraising will go towards our community outreach & voucher programs)
We are a collective group of birth workers and care providers and we aim to support, care for, and encourage pregnant, postpartum, and soon to be pregnant mamas.
We are focused towards empowering and informing families as well as creating a safe place to share their parenthood journeys. We are holistically based, but we are open to families, birthworkers, and holistic care providers of all kinds.
We wish to honor every family and their birth wishes and discrimination, open judgement, and putting down of one another will not be tolerated. As care providers and parents we should be supporting, encouraging, and gently sharing information with one another. So please help us co-create a healing and gentle environment.
Help us open up "The Spiral Center For Conscious Beginnings", a Family resource center in the heart of the beautiful blue ridge mountains. Our dream is to create a space for families and women to come (from pre-conception to postpartum) and have access to local resources and holistic care, enjoy classes and workshops, get pampered, create sisterhood, shop, relax, etc. And all in one space! Some of the things we aim to be offering and doing include:

-Doula Services
-Postpartum Care and Services
-Bereavement Services
-Lactation Consulting
-Herbal Wellness
-Nutritional Consulting

-Support Groups for Postpartum, Breastfeeding, and bereavement
-Maternity/ Baby Clothing Closet
-Consignment Shop full of goodies for mama & babies-A kids space for kids to connect and play while their parent/s attend groups, shop, or come in for appointments
-A Community Outreach program to provide vouchers for services and supplies to families in need
