The Ryan Womack Fund

Donation protected
It is with humble hearts that we are asking for financial support for a Public Safety family member. Ryan Womack, age 9, is the son of Paramedic Major Amanda Womack of Anderson County EMS and Firefighter Paramedic Chad Womack of the Lexington Fire Department/Deputy Chief of the Anderson County Fire Department. Ryan has been diagnosed with undifferentiated Embryonal Sarcoma of the liver. This is a rare aggressive cancerous tumor seen in children between ages 5 and 10 years old. Ryan is hospitalized undergoing chemotherapy and awaiting a liver resection. Post surgery, Ryan will continue undergoing chemotherapy with the possibility of radiation treatment. It appears this expensive treatment may take many months. The Womacks, who live in Lawrenceburg Ky, have a second child and the parents are going to be routinely traveling between Lawrenceburg and Lexington Ky where Ryan is currently hospitalized. We anticipate extensive travel expenses and time lost at work for both parents. We ask our Public Safety brothers and sisters as well as the general public to graciously assist us in supporting one of our own. Your generosity and prayers are humbly appreciated by all.
