Keep the Roo Bus Rolling!
Hi there! We're Sharla and Daniel, and we own The Real Roo Bus.
We bought the bus last summer after meeting the previous owners at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, TN. The bus, a 1989 Ford, has been to at least six Bonnaroo festivals. We plan to keep the traditional alive and take her to many, many more.
Unfortnately, while taking the bus for a short drive a few weeks ago, she stopped running in the middle of the highway. She had to be towed to a mechanic. After $150 in towing fees, and $750 in repairs, we're a little stressed about her future.
The bus is well-loved by many people who attend Bonnaroo, and this is proven by the signature scattred inside and out. Guests are always welcome to sign the bus in permanent ink.
We have many future plans for the bus, including taking her to Record Store Day at Vertical House Records in Huntsville, Alabama on April 21. We're also co-hosting an unoffical pre-party at Bonnaroo itself.
We can't wait to show this beautiful bus off to the world; in the way she was meant to be shown!
