Therapy Pet Needs Your Help

This page was set up by 1 of my great friends, Debralee. She put it together for my best friend/emotional support and therapy animal, Fanto & I.
This is our story:
I am setting up this page in hopes of saving the life of my beloved Therapy Pet, Fanto. He turned 6 on Christmas ( i didnt think we'd celebrate another holiday or bday together, but we did. :) he beat the odds) in December of 2014 I paid over $3,000 on surgery to fix a blockage in his stomach and was told his odds we're less then 10%. He beat the odds! The next year he was diagnosed with insolnoma an lymphoma  (cancer in the lynoids) and put on prednisone and I was told he'd have 6 months-1 yr. Over a year passed.he is still here. Fanto started to plumplet in October 2016. He was struggling to walk and much more. I chose to get a 2nd opinion from a exotic vet specialist and after  1 visit /$1,889.97 later,  We got answered that Fanto was misagnosed and positive for Adrenal Gland Disease*Cancer in Adrenal Glands* ferrets commonly get 3 different types of Cancer..I was told he had 2 out of the 3. He actually had the 1 they said he didnt and negative for the other 2. Being so much time has passed without being properly  diagnosed it is very hard to treat but I am going to make every attempt to manage it and fight the bills if he's willing to fight for battle even if it makes me broke.) Fanto has just recenly become blind (he lost his vision in 1 month dec-jan) and is also suffering from an Enlarged Spleen, lumps on his liver that if not monitored constantly, can turn into cancer and his liver will fail. Having also gained weight from prednisone and side effects of cancer ,Fanto develop Degenerative Joint Disease and struggles to walk. His Adrenal Gland Cancer affects his Blood Glocose Levels and every week they have to take blood work to make sure he's in a safew range. Every week I take Fanto to the Vet for his Chemotherapy .Heven gets Lupin shots and and with the Doctor visits, medication and special formula I have spent over $3,200.00 in the past 12 weeks. He needs a implant which will be very expensive but it's how he will get his Chemotherapy and slow down the process. It can spread the major organs and so far my efforts and money have kept him safe from that. Fanto has to be fed every three hours and giving medication on a timely schedule.  I can't imagine losing Fanto at a time I need him the most. As some of you may know I suffer from Gastropareies, Lupus and Chronic Lymes and Autoimmune Disease thay has changed my life dramatically from where I hoped to be. These diseases have kept me isolated due to the high exposure of germs so Fanto is all I have.  As I suffer every day with my illnesses, Fanto gives me the strength and comfort to start my day. My own medical bills are so high, my insurance never covers any of my doctors or the testing I need.  I can barely afford my own medical expenses and yet I have spent my last dollar on Fanto and will put him before myself because without him ,I just wouldn't have the fight in me that he gives me. I encourage everyone to get their animal pet insurance so youll have help but not 1 insurance covers cancer in ferrets. I'very tried many ways to get him help but unfortunately the study of how/why/what causes cancer in ferrets isnt even studied. He's a therapy pet but also tremendously smart and my saving grace. Fanto has pulled me out of seizures and made me smile when I was to ill to even move. Saving his life would mean saving my life as well. As a therapy pet, Fanto alerts me when I am going into a seizure and I am able to come out of it. I don't have much but when I do I al always give. I've been donating to 3 random Go Fund Me Pages a month for almost 6 months just hoping 3 people a month will find hope and see kindness is not far away. This time I need the help.
