Let's help the Greiner family!!!!!!

Donation protected

We are the family of Todd, Sue, Johanna and Matt Greiner. We have put this Gofundme account together in an effort to help reduce the financial burden on them during their time of need so they can focus on what is important right now, which is the full recovery of their loving husband, father and grandfather, Todd Greiner.

If you know anything about The Greiner's you know that they are givers. Todd and Sue have spent the majority of their lives spreading the gospel to anyone that will listen. They have also instilled the word of The Lord and his teachings in their children.

The Greiner's are not the type of family to ever ask for a helping hand as they are more focused on putting other's before themselves, which is why we are putting this together for them.

On June 10th, 2016 at approximately 4:30PM The Greiner's life was turned upside down and forever changed.

Todd Greiner was helping a friend (also a current pilot) in re certifying his pilot’s license in accordance to the guidelines set forth by the FAA when the unthinkable happened. While performing FAA required maneuvers for the re certification of the pilot, something went terribly wrong causing the plane to crash.

Todd Greiner was critically injured having to be extricated from the plane and airlifted with serious bodily injuries. It was approximately 2 hours from the time of the crash to the time Todd arrived in the Operating Room.

It is a miracle in itself that Todd was able to survive the plane crash, let alone to be able to survive a helicopter ride to a hospital 45 minutes away.

The Surgeons who initially worked on Todd in the operating room were very cautious on how Todd would recover. However, Todd being a strong willed, God loving person and all of the prayers from his family and friends, he has defied all odds. His surgeons have gone from being "cautious" to calling him their "miracle" man.

While we do not know the exact cause of the terrible accident we do know that the Greiner's have a long road ahead of them both mentally, financially and physically.

We all know that while it may be a miracle that Todd has defied the statistics of surviving a plane crash of that caliber, a 40-minute helicopter ride to being placed on the operating table to all of the injuries that he has, that it is God's work. God has determined there is more for Todd to do on this Earth.

Todd is not by any means "out of the woods". Todd is very much still in critical condition. Todd is currently in a hospital 2 hours away from where Sue and Johanna live and approximately 12 hours from where Matt lives.

We are asking for any amount of donations for their family to help in lodging, gas, food and other miscellaneous costs.

With the injuries that Todd sustained, he is looking at a very long road to recovery, all of which will be done here in the St. Louis Metro area. Which means a very high financial stress added to his immediate family.

In recap:

The money will be deposited into an account that goes straight to the Greiner family. They will utilize the money to help ease the financial burden that is inevitable.

While the Greiner family does not know that this Gofundme has been started, they soon will realize the blessing that God has bestowed upon them by putting you in their life and helping in their time of need.
