Our team competed and took 1st place in the Destination Imagination Western Region Tournament in Buffalo, NY. We advanced to the NYS Affiliate Tournament where we were awarded High Instant Challenge Score in the Elementary Division for our challenge as well as 1st Place in our Team Challenge: Vanished! We have advanced to Global Finals in Tennessee where we will compete against teams from all over the world!

Our competition takes place on the beautiful campus of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN from May 24, 2017 to May 27, 2017.  The team will showcase their solution to the team challenge as well as compete in an instant challenge.  In addition, they have the opportunity to attend many educational workshops, engage with children from all over the world and walk away with a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Our team members are working to fund their participation fee of $750 each.  This fee covers all event participation, on campus transportation, food and housing.  The families of students will be funding their transportation to and from the event.  Any family members attending with our young team will fund their own travel and accommodations.  To learn more about this AMAZING opportunity for the team, check out the Destination Imagination Global Finals website linked below.
