Synagogue memberships may be down, but nightlife is very real, and festival attendance keeps increasing. Could it be time to fuse the party with the prayer, and the prayer with the party?
Since 2015, Rishe Groner and the team at The Gene-Sis have been creating embodied, experiential Jewish mystical experiences at festivals including Gratitude Migration, Burning Man, Permajam, Nomadico, Elements Festival... and more to come.
Along with our signature "Goddess Shabbos" Friday night ceremony and dinner, The Gene-Sis has facilitated workshops on gratitude, blessings, the Divine Feminine, transitions, and the New Year, based on Jewish ritual, traditions and mystical wisdom of Kabbalah, at festivals, retreats and parties.
This year, The Gene-Sis has been invited to bring Shabbos, and other workshops to 5 festivals in the tristate area from May - July 2018, with more projected in August - September as far as Australia and the West Coast. Are you ready to help make that happen?
All donations go towards growing our ability to plan and create events, purchase materials and food for workshops and Shabbos dinners, cover entry and trans
portation to festivals and retreats, and take care of marketing and administrative costs as we grow as an organization (for example, we'd love to have tax deductible status for you soon!).
