The What The Fur Fund

Just over eight years ago, Christopher "Feli" Pilgrim became the chair for a new convention in Montreal called What The Fur. With the help of his partner Manny and his friends Twitchy and Firebreath, as well as other volunteers, they launched in 2010.
Over the course of eight years, What The Fur grew to over 500 attendees in a three day event. But as with all things, it had to come to an end, and on July 30th, 2017 the convention ended for the last time.
During the eight years of What The Fur, Feli worked tirelessly to make the convention run smoothly. He inspired dozens of volunteers, and drew people from all over Canada and the United States. He was the face of a convention and community that was beloved by many, and never asked for recognition for it.
What many don't realize is that Feli, Manny and Firebreath invested a great deal of money into the convention, in order to make it that much better. Year after year, money was put in to make sure it kept going so that so very many people could attend.
It's time to give something back to the people who made sure WTF was able to go for as long as it did. To help them get back some of what they put into the convention, and thank them for his contribution to a vibrant, joyful community.
All funds from this GoFundMe will be given to WTF to help recoup money paid into the convention and pay off creditors.
To all the attendees of What The Fur over the years... thank you! Let's see if we can't wring any more tears out of Feli... and get some from a certain Pup.
