We are passionate about helping homeless and marginalize people. And through our volunteer work, we’ve learned that there is an urgent need for hair care product donations at homeless shelters. As hair experts, we want to lend our energy and experience to help solve this problem, starting in our own city in Vancouver’s downtown eastside.
Cleanliness is one of the most difficult challenges of being homeless. Physical cleanliness is a matter of human dignity; it offers the possibility for social inclusion and significant improvements in health and life condition.
This is why for every bottle of hair product we sell, we will donate a bottle to someone in need. The more product we sell, the more we can donate.
And to sell a lot of shampoo, we know that we need to design the best hair goods on the market: excelling in performance, and environmental and societal benefit.
This is the idea behind the launch of The Chelsea Hair Goods.
